Why can't I send out my email from home/office?
Some internet services provider block SMTP server (outbound email) from going out except for their own server. The reason is to protect their company from spam related problem. Most ISP will let you opt out of the block. You just have to contact your ISP to unblock it or use their SMTP server instead of the one for IEM, Inc.
What to do when you received the following error message? Why do I received this error? (The following recipient(s) could not be reached: 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1) .)
The reason for the error is that most spammer uses open relay on a client connection. The error you are receiving is actually a defensive device to protect the email server from getting spam. The error message is cryptic at best. What it means is that you must check your email first before it will let the mail server knows that you are one of the authorized email sender. Then the program will give you permission to send out your email.
