Installing Citrix client

To download and run the client click here Mac OS X Client

 

1. After downloading click on Citrix ICA Client to start installation

 

 

2. Click Continue on the next screen

 

 

3. Click Continue on License Agreement screen, and Agree and Continue in the popup window

 

 

4. Make sure you see a green arrow pointing to the local hard drive and click Continue 

 

 

5. Click on Install

 

 

6. Type your Macintosh password and click OK

 

 

7. Click Close to finish installation.

 

 

8. Move to the trash  MacICA_OSX.dmg file and eject the Citrix ICA Client from the desktop

Configuring Citrix client

1. Click Go button on the task bar and open Applications window

 

2. Open Citrix ICA Client folder

3. Double-click on Citrix ICA Client Editor

4. Click on Default Settings button

5. Click Add button to open Server Address window

6. In the next window type citrix5.ieminc.org in the Server box and 8080 in the Port box and click OK

7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 three more times, adding citrix3.ieminc.org, citrix2.ieminc.org and citrix1.ieminc.org and changing all three ports to 8080.

8. Click on Firewalls button

9. Check the box Use alternate address for firewall connection and click OK

10. Click Save to return to Untitled window.

11. Check the Published Application button and click on Browse button

 12. Choose Filemaker and click Select

13. Check the User Specified Credentials box and fill three boxes:

       a. User name (first initial + last name)

       b. Password (your password)

       c. Domain: ieminc

      and click Save

14. Type FRED.ica in Save As window and click Save

15. Click Quit to close the Editor

16. Use the FRED.ica shortcut to start FileMaker.
